BLAST ROOMS

Our Blast rooms are tailored to our customers needs due to the fact that each customer has a different application, be it size of work piece or the type of recovery system. We can meet the needs of any customer small or large by manufacturing equipment specific to their application.

This can be achieved by mixing and matching the equipment we have to offer with the customers application requirements, a sample of our range is described below.


UNDER FLOOR RECOVERY

Under Floor Recovery is the most efficient form of Abrasive recovery system, leading to virtually no downtime refilling the Shot blast machine. Under Floor Recovery takes a number of forms, the most common being Screw Conveyor and Scraper Floor. It can be designed to cover the whole area of the Blast room floor or as little as is required.

VAC LIFTERS

Vac lifters are a form of Air conveyor, the used Abrasive is lifted through a delivery tube and fed into a Cyclone Separator where the dust is removed and the reusable Abrasive falls back into the Shot blast machine.

ELEVATORS

Elevators are usually used in conjunction with Under Floor Recovery but they can be used on their own via a sweep in hopper. The Elevator is usually fitted with an Air wash Separator and Storage hopper which cleans and regrades the used Abrasive and stores it until it is required giving a continuous supply of Abrasive Media to the Shot blast machine.

STORAGE HOPPERS

For larger capacities a separate storage hopper can be mounted above the Shot blast machine to automatically feed abrasive as it is required giving longer uninterrupted Blast Cleaning times.
